Responsibilities: Successful candidate will be responsible to supporting specific regions from a Thinkpad perspective for both Relationship and Transactional products. Specifically ensuring we have the right ThinkPad Products at the right Price being sold in the right Place with strong Promotions and Marketing campaigns. Job function requires strong program management skills, multicultural relationship/trust building in a matrixed organization. Person must take End to End view in supporting a region from a 4P perspective. Requirements:
-Strong communication skills in English -Strong program management skills. Able to drive parallel complex schedules across multiple geographic regions. Keep projects on track and drives resolution of conflicts and schedule impacts through effective and creative risk mitigation and recovery planning. -Adaptable and flexible to work environment including, but not limited to, out of town travel as required to meet business commitments and working overtime, as business needs may require. - Handling multiple tasks concurrently, and easily adapting to new assignments; produce clear, concise, accurate written communication, clearly conveying thoughts and ideas to peers, management, and customers - Establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, and customers, displaying willingness to understand diverse points of view - Learn and apply new equipment and tools within an acceptable timeframe; and assume ownership of assignments, completing commitments on time. -Network across global organization and lead/influence key individuals/Executives on new initiatives, resource balancing or budget. -Develop and cultivate relationships with WW Product Marketing team, ThinkPad Portfolio team, Global Supply Chain team, GEOs Operation teams and GEOs Transaction business team. -Direct responsibility for complex projects; determine priorities based on general business unit directive. - Lead multifunctional teams. -Minimum 3-5 years experience in Marketing and Marketing Operations role. -Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, presentation and decision making skills. -Ability to think strategically and convey/deploy strategic view to subordinates peers and Executive Management. -Learns and applies new processes, equipment and tools within an acceptable timeframe. -Strong Powerpoint/Excel skills -Overseas/MBA experience preferred .
