RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Planning/Objectives/Costs Responsibility:
² Developing and co-ordination of short-term budget planning for the area of personal responsibility. Introduction of corrective measures in case of deviations. Definition, arrangement and follow up of objectives and measures with the managers from the area of responsibility.
Ø Internal/External Audits:
² Realization, co-operation and co-ordination of internal audits linked to system, product and processes at the location according to the audit planning stipulated by the location management and by the Group Center CQ guideline. Co-operation in realization of external audits (TUV). Introduction of appropriate corrective measures and insure their implementation by means of permanent monitoring of the guideline.
Ø Requalification:
² Co-operation by promotion of requalification (internal/external). Introduction of appropriate corrective measures and insure their implementation through permanent monitoring of the guideline.
Ø Management System:
² Ensure appropriate implementation of DRX Management System at the location, by working out the necessary work instructions and ensuring their implementation. Proposal of new work instructions in co-ordination with the manager. Ensure the maintenance of necessary Q-documents and relevant communication towards employees at the location.
Ø Quality protection:
² Ensure the product and process quality at the location, beginning with the receipt of goods and ending with the delivery of parts, according to the client requirements and internal guideline. Establishment of QS-inspection and co-ordination of it with the inspecting plan or guideline. Realization and co-operation in approval of series production. Realization of (external, internal) complaint and deviation analyses in co-operation with other departments (ex. Production, Purchasing, Technique etc.). Establishment and coordination of correction measures and ensuring their implementation.
Ø Guarantee:
² Co-operation in the analysis of guarantee cases from clients.
Ø Suppliers:
² Clarifying of quality problems with the suppliers, in co-operation with the Purchased Parts Quality Department, and ensuring problem solving at the location. Partial co-operation with the Purchasing Department by suppliers’ arrangements and evaluation.
Ø Project work:
² Participation and managing of projects in production area at the location and ensuring consideration of quality aspects (e.g. production removal abroad)
Ø Customers:
² Clarifying of quality problems with the customers and business units in case of complaints and ensuring their solution. Act as the Customers’ Representative function according to the definition TS16949 and to the relevant work instructions of the business units.
Ø Prevention:
² Encouragement and implementation of preventive quality techniques during the whole production process. Search, find and encourage new quality methods and lead in their use for far reaching improvements by all employees.
Ø Management of Co-Workers:
² Manage and guide further development and motivation of the subordinated co-workers according to the guiding principles of the company. Make personal decisions in co-operation with the HR and the manager.
Ø Reporting:
² Support and co-ordination of reporting to the location manager and the quality manager of the business unit according with the requirements of the Management System.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Ø Education / Training:
² Dipl.-Ing. (PS/TU), Craftsman, Techician or technical/commercial education with relevant job experience
² Additional qualification auditor / QM
Ø Work experience:
² ca. 3 years of experience in automotive quality field or comparable job experience
Ø Knowledge and skills statistics knowledge
² good german knowledge
² good english knowledge
