Support business sales, operation and
functional organizations in China. Our function is responsible for
administration, consulting and/ or negotiation of project/service contracts
with external customers. We also develop and/ or implement XXXX contract programs,
policies and processes. Our people work closely with marketing and sales,
operation, functions and business management to structure contracts consistent
with XXXX business objectives.
1. Contract Review
• Consulting, structuring,
drafting and negotiation of non-standard project/service contracts with
external customers.
• Develop and/or implement
XXXX policies and processes.
• Take ownership of terms
& standards of local contract templates
2. Consultant
• Providing professional
advice on contract drafting and making good judgments during contract
negotiations with speed, knowledge and creativity, the successful candidate
will help business organizations conclude business but at the same time prevent
XXXX from being exposed to unnecessary business and/or legal risks.
3. Business Enablement
Work closely with business teams, other
functions, including the legal teams, within XXXX as well as customers. The
objectives of increasing customers' orders, improving company's profitability
and reducing/avoiding business risk require to:

increase customer respect and trust by providing creative, customer focused and
cost effective contract solutions that meet customers' legitimate business
needs,

improve sales force efficiency by taking ownership of contract negotiation
process and reducing turn around time for contract drafting, and
-
increase company's profitability by providing strong risk management
leadership.
4. Contractual issues and Risk
identification
Identify and minimize contractual issues
and commercial risks

implement risk assessment and contract management according to XXXX policies
and processes

build contract database and provide timely reports on contract metrics and
complex legal issues

ensure compliance with XXXX's business practices and code of conduct
Education level and/or relevant
experience(s)
• BS Degree in Law
• At least 5 years
relevant experience in contracts management
• Sound knowledge and
experience in review/analysis of contract terms & conditions, contract
administration practices, and contract law
• Knowledge in risk
assessment and risk management
• Relevant experience in
construction industry
• Strong contract
negotiation and drafting skills
• Strong legal knowledge
will be an advantage
• Strong local knowledge
of commercial control
• Regional working
experience of USA listed company, be able to adopt to matrix organization
