Brief
description
Responsible for developing new business within the broadcast and cable
industry in North China region--Beijing/South China region--Shenzhen. Identifying and evaluating new business
opportunities to create real value for the business in this region.
Main Responsibilities/Duties
- Experienced
with recent involvement in broadcast and cable industry.
- Identifying
new business opportunities
and developing
strategies for the cable business across North China
- Handling
all commercial activities, presentations pricing and negotiations.
- Establishing
and maintaining
relationship with key personnel of potential customers, strategic
partners and other channels in achieving business results.
- Lead
negotiation process to convert it into new business.
- Work
closely with local teams in each China market and leverage current
resources and contacts in the market.
Technical Skills
- 5 years plus
of solid experience in complex, long cycled and multi-faceted projects for
an operator, service or technology provider within the cable industry
- Must
have proven commercial experience.
- Have
the acumen in dealing with a diverse range of prospects and successful in
expanding and establishing strong business relationships.
- Excellent
presentation skills.
- Ability
to understand and articulate the technical concepts associated with the
cable industry.
- Understands the detailed
issues, market trends, implications of the industry

Skills/Profile
- Excellent
interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Must
be customer focused
with the confidence and presence to initiate and forge strong
relationships at senior levels in order to develop new business.
- Ability
to work independently to identify new prospects.
- Proactive
in recognising and converting business opportunities into successful
relationships.
- Strong
communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Willingness
to travel at short notice as required.
