Position

InterChina has a position open for a Consultant in our Strategy Practice in Shanghai.

The Strategy Practice supports clients develop understanding and insight into their markets; identify entry points and prioritize target markets; design value propositions and route-to-market structures; as well as participate in the initial stages of the rollout. Our team of 20 specialist consultants have conducted in excess of 400 projects, mainly for Western multinationals in the energy & power, automotive, chemicals, healthcare and food & beverage sectors. We use 'homegrown' methodologies that put the emphasis on fieldwork, ongoing interaction with the client, and the iterative testing of potential solutions.

The main responsibility of the Consultant will be project management for medium-sized and/or simple projects. Typical project management responsibilities include: client management; design of analytical approach; work planning and team leadership; face-to-face and discussion-based interviews; detailed analysis and reality checking; development of range of conclusions and recommendations; deliverable preparation and presentation of results.

Consultants are also Team Members for large-sized and/or complex projects.

Requirements

l Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience

· MBA or strong and relevant academic record.

· Substantial China business experience (>5 years).

· Including substantial consulting or corporate development experience (>3 years).

· Very strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.

· Multilingual (fluent Mandarin and fluent English).
