We are looking for an individual with experience leading a high-performance 24x7 production support team. The Customer Operations is responsible for managing the systems, processes, and people in the CRDC for the ***. This includes overseeing systems administration, database administration, application operations, and production support.
· Ability to hire, train, and grow an outstanding team · Oversee management of systems infrastructure and application operations (databases and ops support) · Provide 24x7 support for all production datacenter, including monitoring and service management · Implement internal controls that meet and exceed compliance and regulatory standards (IT, SOX, etc.) · Serve as technical escalation point for critical production issues and drive escalation /resolution of the problem · Partner with Infrastructure Operations to develop operations toolset (e.g. installers, tools, etc.)
Qualifications:
· 4+ years experience leading a 24x7 support organization · 5+ years technical experience in operations (systems/network admin ideal), primarily in a hands-on role · 4+ years experience supporting mission- critical internet applications · Strong operational knowledge of UNIX (Solaris/Linux), Window, and networking, prior admin experience preferred · Proven experience in driving automated tools and processes that are scalable over time · Experience working with 3+ tiered architectures in J2EE hosted environments (Apache, Weblogic, MS SQL, Oracle, Tomcat, etc) · Experience working with load balancing technologies (e.g. F5, Foundry, Cisco) and web server farms · Solid background in internet service deployment, provisioning, IP networking, service infrastructure or software deployment · Solid verbal and written communication skills · As we are a 24x7 service provider, the ideal candidate must be willing to weekends as needed
